Punk Under Communism Regime is a documentary about the punk scene in Ljubljana between 1978 and 1985. The bands that were formed at that time were made up of high school students who, despite their youth, quickly started playing and caused a wave of repression from the communist party structures.

Andrej Košak

Andrej Košak graduated from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is a film and television director, screenwriter and lecturer. His debut feature film broke all national box office records, received several international awards and became a key element in the so-called Revival of Slovenian cinema. His second film is an adaptation of the novel by the established Slovenian writer Drago Jančar. State of Shock was selected for the Equinox Screenwriting Workshop, the Co-Production Market at the Berlin Film Festival and the Screenplay Market at the Cannes Film Festival.
