RECEPTIONS Greece-Bulgaria, 2025, 104 min, color

A comic tragedy about an obscure but uncompromising journalist, a specialist in ancient Greek sayings, who tries to keep his apartment and lead a decent life, without giving up on his principles, without losing his integrity.

In a world that accepts dishonesty as a necessary compromise for survival, 60-year-old Demos Perpataris is unemployed and living on the edge of poverty, yet he still prefers to go hungry rather than go against his conscience. Until he meets the Receptionistas: A bunch of cheerful amoralists, who sneak into receptions to eat for free.
