MOTHER MARA

Mara, a successful businesswoman and single mother, is devastated by the unexpected death of her 19-year-old son. She cannot cope, withdraws completely, goes back to normal as if nothing had happened. Emotionally, she is barely surviving. She meets fitness trainer Milan, a close friend of her son. They have a brief and passionate love affair. Through what she learns from him, she slowly overcomes her grief. Mother Mara is a visually powerful drama about grief and recovery.
