The film follows three parallel storylines – Vasko “The Patch”, who is an old-time Bulgarian bluesman with over 30 albums in his career, Evgenii Dainov, who is a political scientist, a teacher, and a bluesman, and the band "12 Bar" – Bulgarians that perform in America. What the three groups have in common is their existential passion - the blues. The main theme is the path of the artist nowadays in non-commercial waters and their sacrifice for the sake of their cause.
