BEYOND THE CURTAIN

The city of Burgas Theatre seen from the inside – the costume makers, make-up artist, the props manager, ironworker, and the carpenter, the stage workers and the other theatre staff, are the people that the theater audience never sees. They recreate tradition and decorations, blow mist, light the stars and bring life in the dark salon.
A film about the discreet side of theatre life - about the truth in the theatre and the danger of it.
In memory of our colleagues: props manager Dimitar Iliev, sound engineer Georgi Panayotov and the father of the Burgas theater in the last more than 20 years - Borislav Chakrinov, who unfortunately recently passed beyond the curtain!
