Alex (15) doesn't like the water, but his father wants him to practice swimming. The boy prefers taking care of the old, sick dog he grew up with. Alex's daily life consists of constant attempts to rebel against his parents - a father obsessed with the dream of turning his son into a competitive swimmer and an indifferent mother. When the boy loses his best friend - the dog, he realizes that what he has left is his family – as it is.
