Two women meet in the visiting room of a prison where they come to visit "their man". One is a wealthy bourgeois, the other has to work hard to feed her two children. The first offers the second to stay in her big house, closer to the prison. Is it friendship, love, a pact? On the edge, the film follows the unexpected tandem, their dream of female emancipation, the backlash on the chasm that separates them.
