Overworked New York architect Daphne Bello arrives in the Rhodope Mountains to inherit the run-down house of a grandmother she never knew, recently deceased at age 102. While trying to learn the truth about her long-dead Bulgarian father, Daphne clashes with her quirky local cousin Orlin, who tries to rid her of the supposedly useless property by keeping quiet about the unique mineral water that flows beneath it. As she uncovers the dramatic story of her father's family, still vivid in the memory of the local seniors, Daphne encounters a much-needed opportunity to reinvent herself.
