Gundi – A Legend of Love is dedicated to the great and beloved football player from the past, Georgi Asparuhov – Gundi. It follows the life of the legendary athlete, from the day he met Velichka Markova – Lita, to the tragic day of June 30, 1971. T the heart of the script are previously untold stories from the personal life of Georgi Asparuhov and his greatest love – his wife Lita, with whom they went through many trials of life, football and the system, but remained together until the very end. The movie also brings to life some of Gundi’s legendary matches, thanks to hundreds of special effects used in the film.
