EVENING FOR JOHNY PENKOV

SECTION “FOCUS” 

At the beginning of the 1960s, Radoy Ralin created the section “Focus”. It was a real joy for the Bulgarian people – a breath of free spirit. Naturally, it wasn't long before they banned them. We offer a few highlights, without being particular – Road signs, Perpetuum procrastination, Make me space, Execution.

The original title of the film was First Boor of the Republic. Why was the title changed? If you come to the screening you will find out. The film was made in 1987 by Charlie and Jackie, two of the legendary trio “Jackie, Johnny and Charlie”.


NEW YEAR'S GREETING FROM DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES

This greeting card was commissioned by the Department of Motor Vehicles for Jackie, Johnny and Charlie for the new1988 year. There were then 6 meetings of the senior management of the Home Office as to whether this thing could be shown.  It wasn't.

RITUALS OF LOVE

The film is about sex in animals (and some humans) In the film Johnny reads the text of the film, but at one point it is revealed that he is not reading the text to the audience, but to a girl he is currently courting.
